This website is dedicated to the veterans who fought during the Second World War. As a high school sophomore in the fall of 2010, I began interviewing local WWII veterans near my home in Pinehurst. I had always been fascinated with the subject, and wanted to write down into words the experiences which their generation had lived through. By the time I graduated in May of 2012, I had interviewed 30 WWII veterans. My book, The World at War: First Hand Accounts from America's Greatest Generation, is the telling of their experiences.
